Bill Phelps is the CEO of Dave’s Hot Chicken, a Nashville Hot Chicken concept based in Los Angeles, a role he has held since 2019. Since joining as CEO, the brand has exploded from a parking lot pop-up in Los Angeles to over 145 locations open across North America and the Middle East and over 700 additional units in the development pipeline. He has decades of experience leading franchise brands. Prior to Dave’s Hot Chicken, Phelps co-founded and was the CEO of Wetzel’s Pretzels and was an initial investor in Blaze Pizza, helping both brands rapidly expand their footprints.
