Champa Magesh
CEO, Access Hospitality at Access Group
Speaker

Profile

Champa Magesh is CEO of Access Hospitality, where she leads with a straightforward principle: technology should enable hoteliers to focus on guests, not systems.
With over 20 years in technology, payments, and travel sectors, Champa approaches hospitality with genuine curiosity and deep respect for the complexity of hotel operations. She listens to how general managers, revenue managers, and hotel owners describe their daily challenges—from coordinating housekeeping with front desk systems to optimizing room inventory across channels—and translates those insights into product strategy.

At Access Hospitality, Champa is driving the development of Access Evo, a unified platform designed to connect property management, channel distribution, guest engagement, and back-office operations. The platform leverages AI to surface actionable, contextual insights at the right moment—alerting teams to occupancy patterns, revenue opportunities, or operational bottlenecks without requiring manual analysis. The goal is to give hoteliers the information they need, when they need it, in a format that drives immediate decisions rather than adding to their workload.

Rather than adding complexity, the focus is on simplification and intelligence. Technology that integrates reservation management with revenue optimization. AI that works quietly in the background, turning data into recommendations. Systems that give hoteliers clarity without requiring them to become data analysts or IT experts. Solutions built around how hotels actually work.

Champa's background includes senior leadership at Trainline PLC, Amadeus, American Express, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Cisco Systems. She believes the best way to serve hospitality is to stay curious, keep learning from operators, and build technology that genuinely makes their jobs easier.
Champa holds an MBA and Master's in Information Management from Arizona State University.
