Speaker

Profile

Neel Patel is the Chief Executive Officer of REGO Restaurant Group, the parent company of Quiznos and Taco Del Mar. Since stepping into the role in early 2025, Neel has been leading the revitalization of Quiznos as a core focus of REGO’s broader transformation, centered on improving unit-level economics, modernizing go-to-market strategy, and rebuilding the operating model to support sustainable, franchise-led growth. Neel is particularly focused on how applied AI can reshape restaurant go-to-market models, unlock productivity, and create more resilient, franchise-friendly systems at scale. At Quiznos, this work spans practical applications across marketing, analytics, and core business processes—using technology to support better decision-making, faster testing, and more disciplined execution in a complex legacy system. Prior to REGO, Neel served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Growth at Church’s Texas Chicken, where he played a key role in the brand’s transformation and transactional growth, leading commercial strategy, revenue management, and global expansion. Earlier in his career, Neel was a leader at McKinsey & Company, advising companies across industries on enterprise strategy, data & analytics, commercial optimization, and value creation. A proud UNC Tar Heel graduate, Neel is passionate about building strong teams, translating modern tools into practical execution, and bringing the best ideas from across industries into the restaurant business.
