As President, North America & International, Scott Mezvinsky leads talented teams across the globe with a mission to inspire and enable the world to Live Más and reach our goal of becoming a $25 billion brand. He and his team create and execute strategies that ensure our global restaurant teams and customers have industryleading experiences, however they choose to experience the brand – online, in line or behind the line. He’s been with Yum! for 20 years and worked all over the world, and with that, drives great business results, net-new-unit (NNU) growth and is an all-around great leader of the Taco Bell culture. Scott has also earned a reputation in the franchise community as a trusted partner through his deep understanding of franchise business and shared passion for success.

Most recently, Scott served as Global Chief Strategy & Financial Officer, where he led the finance, development, and strategy functions to ensure Taco Bell’s bold ideas were possible and profitable. When he first joined Yum! In 2004, Scott was part of the KFC U.S. finance team where he held positions of increasing responsibility in both marketing analysis and financial planning. In 2008, he transitioned to the Yum! Restaurants International (YRI) finance team where he led the Strategic Planning and M&A functions. Scott eventually moved into the role of Chief Development Officer in Yum!, Russia, followed by roles in the KFC Latin America & Caribbean (LA&C) market – Chief Development Officer and VP Development & Operations. Scott and his team achieved record-breaking results in LA&C by increasing annual new unit development by a factor of five. Before coming to Taco Bell, Scott served as General Manager, KFC Iberia, where he helped turn the market into one of KFC’s leaders, achieving record same store sales growth, net new unit growth, and ops metrics in 2018 and again in 2019.Prior to his start at Yum!, he graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Accounting and went on to receive his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Scott currently resides in Orange County, California with his wife, Carrie, and their three children, Beau, and twins Grace and Nora. He is an avid traveler and a connoisseur of wine.
