Giving Kitchen, a national 501(c)3 supports food and beverage service workers in crisis, and who face an illness, injury, death, or house disaster. Founded after chef Ryan Hidinger was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer; the Atlanta restaurant community came together to raise funds for he and his wife Jen and inspired the founding of Giving Kitchen. Now, 13 years later, the organization offers financial assistance and connects clients to local social services in all 50 states. With multilingual, social work-certified case managers, Giving Kitchen provides resources beyond typical EAPs. We invite the industry to support our mission and join our September Dining With Gratitude campaign to increase awareness and fund the need to assist F&B workers in crisis.
