John is the Founder and CEO of The Oasis Group, which helps wealth management firms with technology strategy, cybersecurity, data analytics, and AI implementation. He also authors the Oasis Peaks Perspective newsletter, reaching over 133,000 subscribers, and contributes regularly to industry publications.

John created the Activist Investor Arc, a strategic framework introduced in his best-selling book Rise of The Activist Investor, outlining the phases of activist investing.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience, John began his career at Merrill Lynch and played a key role in an IPO and two company sales. He later held leadership roles at Oracle for over eight years and served in C-level positions at two public companies
