Brian is an Environmental Scientist with more than 15 years of experience combined in environmental regulation (both in U.K. and Canada), project management and scientific analyses. Brian worked with the Scottish EPA for over 10 years and lead scientific input into regulatory enforcement decisions. Brian also managed several national “State of the Environment” reports. Brian then expanded his expertise into the environmental consultancy/engineering sector. Working with large multi-national petroleum companies, Brian successfully managed numerous contaminated sites from initial assessment to final closure.
In his current regulatory role, Brian is a Lead Environmental Protection Officer with Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment - Brian is a co-ordinator and incident responder for the Provincial spills and hazardous materials response team. Brian is also responsible for assessing and regulating a number of contaminated sites and ensuring the safe storage of hazardous substances.
