Brian Moskowitz is from Toronto, ON. He graduated from University of Toronto with a B.Sc. and then obtained his MBA from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, starting his career at Roynat Capital Inc., Bank of Nova Scotia's merchant bank. At the age of 29 he co-managed a $30M subordinated debt real estate. Then, from scratch, in 2002, Brian founded Moskowitz Capital employing the principles of being a “common sense” lender. He believes “people” pay you back not the “buildings” and has combined traditional credit methods, storybook lending and grass roots marketing to achieve exceptional results for his top performing 1st mortgage fund. It's since inception return of 17 years, cash on cash return is 8.8% annualized.
