Sandra Masters was sworn in as Regina’s 35th Mayor on November 23, 2020. She made Regina’s history by becoming the first woman elected and defeating a two-time incumbent Mayor during a global pandemic. Proudly Saskatchewan, Mayor Masters has called Regina home for more than 23 years. She understands the potential Regina has and envisions a Regina that is vibrant, competitive, inclusive, sustainable and safe. Her personal mantra “Show up, Work Hard” has proven itself time and again. Encouraged by the spirit of Regina residents, Mayor Masters is focused on efficient and effective city operations, fostering an environment for economic growth, supporting a safe community, and creating fair opportunities. Mayor Masters is passionately and energetically optimistic about Regina’s future and the outstanding people who choose to call Regina home.
