Jim Dixon has always had a passion for business and economic development, and helping communities, regions, and entrepreneurs succeed, which gives him the impetus to help lead change. Jim is currently employed with the City of Moose Jaw as their Economic Development Manager and brings over 13 years as an economic development practitioner at the municipal and provincial levels. Jim has a national professional designation in economic development Ec.D. (F) as well as an international designation CEcD. Jim’s Executive Management Masters of Business Administration (MBA) was achieved through Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. Business development has been a focus most of Jim’s life as an entrepreneur, business owner, and management consultant. Taking an active role in the leadership of his community has also been a priority and Jim formerly served on the Board of Directors, Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce as well as three terms as an elected Councillor with the City of Moose Jaw.
