Abdulrahman Alfaifi is a Transport Specialist at the World Bank, supporting the institution’s engagement in Saudi Arabia and the GCC through contributions to policy dialogue, technical assistance, and knowledge products that advance sustainable mobility and align with Vision 2030. His focus spans key areas such as public transport, integration between transport and spatial planning such - Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). Beyond his role at the Bank, Abdulrahman served as Director of Etmam Center in Hafr Al-Batin and as Senior Urban Planner, where he contributed to the preparation of the comprehensive strategic plan for Hafr Albatin governorate. He also managed municipal urban design initiatives and other planning roles that strengthened institutional capabilities. Holding a postgraduate degree in Urban Planning and Design, he brings a blend of strategic planning expertise and practical implementation experience, with a strong commitment to advancing integrated and sustainable transport solutions.
