Ahmad is the head of the Transportation sector in Oil Sustainability Program and has over 18 years of experience in the Energy sector. Prior to joining OSP, he has been working in the downstream sector of Saudi Aramco for 16 years. He started as Operation Engineer in Jeddah & Yanbu Refinery and worked as planning Engineer in the company’s Oil Supply Planning & Scheduling Department. In 2010, he was assigned to lead the Aromatics plant project in SATORP “Saudi Aramco Total Refining & Petrochemical Company” giga project to build world class refinery in Jubail.After the completion of the project, Ahmad was relocated to Beijing to work as Portfolio Manger overseeing Aramco’s investment in China including Refining & Distribution JVs before his return to Saudi to lead the business development team to establish the company’s retail business and the kingdom. In 2022, Ahmad joined OSP and he is leading the team to execute the Program’s Transportation sector’s initiative.
