Alastair Bisset is General Manager of Zamil Shipyards responsible for driving the Company’s strategy and growth plans in Kingdom. He is also a board member of National Shipbuilding Industry Company, the Zamil Group Joint Venture with International Maritime Industries.

Mr. Bisset is a shipbuilder with more than 40 years of industry experience managing several shipyards in the UK, North America, Middle and Far East covering commercial, Oil & Gas and defence sectors.

Alastair, a Chartered Engineer, holds a BSc in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Glasgow University, a MSc in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Warwick University and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
