Alexandros Nomikos is a Chartered naval architect and senior maritime executive with over 20 years of shipyard and offshore experience. As Vice President of MRO at International Maritime Industries, he oversees complex maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects across a wide range of vessels and offshore assets, driving safe, on-time, and cost-effective delivery. His background spans ship repair, newbuilding, rig repair and refurbishment, and naval and commercial projects, with deep expertise in yard operations, strategic planning, and end-to-end project execution. Known for structured, hands-on leadership and strong troubleshooting skills, Alexandros leads multicultural, cross-functional teams and engages effectively with stakeholders at all levels to enhance productivity and client satisfaction. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. Alexandros holds an MEng in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a BSc in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from the University of Glasgow. Passionate about continuous improvement, he combines technical rigor with executive decision-making to deliver sustainable performance in rapidly changing maritime environments.
