Abdulrahman is a Master Mariner who was born inland, in the middle of the Saudi Capital Riyadh, graduated from the UK, and then sailed for 15 years with Vela International Marine Limited. He was a project manager working under the KSA MOI bilateral agreement with the US Department to upgrade maritime security capabilities in the kingdom. He worked at Saudi Aramco as a class 1 harbor pilot, VTS supervisor, and OE assessor. Abdulrahman is currently Bahri's Fleet Security Director. handling a large fleet of 107 vessels ranging from VLCCs, Chemical Carriers, ROROs, and Dry Bulk Carriers trading worldwide. Abdulrahman finished a bachelor’s degree in marine operations from Northumbria University. He is an active member of the maritime security industry. He is the Chairman of the Mideast Informal Ship Security Forum. Outside of his creative work, he enjoys playing football, basketball, and following Formula One racing.
