In his position as CFO at Maersk Oil, Carsten managed the separation from A.P. Moller Maersk leading to its sale to TotalEnergies in 2017, ensuring a seamless transition that preserved value for stakeholders. As CEO and Country Chair at TotalEnergies Italy, he oversaw several business units within the energy sector, driving organizational growth and operational efficiency. Carsten also led the negotiations to initiate production from Tempa Rossa following decades of regulatory challenges. As Managing Partner of Digital Energy AI, he combines industry knowledge with artificial intelligence and digital applications for impactful practical purposes.
