Dr. Muhammad Omer, a seasoned technologist with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, boasts over a decade of experience spearheading digital innovation. As a Technical Product Manager at Aramco AI, he currently leads multiple teams in developing AI products that enhance safety at Aramco's rigs and construction sites, boost worker efficiency, creativity, productivity, and reduce manhours. With a background in North America's tech industry, Dr. Omer has held key roles, including Product Engineer at Subtle Medical, a Silicon Valley startup that accelerates and enhances brain MRI imaging. He also worked as a Software R&D Engineer at Circle Cardiovascular Imaging, where he contributed to the development of AI-powered product for automated detection, diagnosis, and reporting of cardiovascular diseases from cardiac MRI scans. Dr. Omer earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada, where he pioneered a multi-modal technology combining ultrasound and microwave imaging for early breast cancer detection. A recipient of prestigious international scholarships and awards, including the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, Alberta Innovates Technology Futures, and Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Award, Dr. Omer has authored over 20 peer-reviewed scientific publications and holds a patent. Additionally, Dr. Omer is a former faculty member of Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University and an alumnus of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia.
