Soror Basalom is the President of Bahri Transport & Logistics Business Unit, part of the The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri). Under his leadership, 2 sub-divisions, Bahri Logistics & Bahri Line, offering Logistics Services in Saudi Arabia across all mode of transport and contract logistics and empowered by 6 Multipurpose vessels with Services between Gulf, Asia & Americas. Prior to joining Bahri, he was part of the team establishing the first Special Economic Zone in Riyadh in continuation for his role As Managing Director of Transport and Logistics at Ministry of Investment where he developed Transport & Logistics Sector Attraction Strategy and further attract and grow investments in Saudi Arabia. He served as an Executive Director for Commercial and Business Development at Saudia Airlines Cargo Ground Handling. Previously he had several roles in his own company, Kuehne+Nagel & Schlumberger. Mr. Basalom held several seats in national committees and earned his Bachelor of Industrial Systems Engineering at the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals.
