Fazel Fazelbhoy is the Chief Executive Officer of Synergy Offshore, a consulting firm providing strategic advice to industry and financial sector clients on offshore energy and marine developments as well as advice in support of corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions activity.

Fazel was the Chief Executive Officer of Topaz Energy and Marine until November 2011 and led the company in providing marine and engineering solutions to the global energy industry with a primary focus on the Middle East and the Caspian Sea. He was responsible for the operation of a fleet of 100+ offshore support vessels in the UAE, Qatar, KSA, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Europe, Brazil and West Africa, as well as a full suite of Engineering activities that spanned offshore construction, ship repair, ship building and the provision of maintenance services.
