We’re excited to announce that John Donovan has been appointed to Vice President of Operations at FUELTRAX. This change has been made to reflect his leadership and proven ability to facilitate the exponential growth of our company and its operations.
John started with FUELTRAX as the Director of Global Operations, and his first initiatives were to coordinate global clients, operators, and installation teams to safeguard the interests of all stakeholders in mission-critical fuel monitoring processes and controls. During his time in this position, he provided sophisticated solutions to challenging problem sets, often in the most austere environments.
Now, as our Vice President of Operations, John is more empowered than ever to continue finding and growing upon these solutions. He manages relationships with vessel owners and international energy partners, ensuring complete client satisfaction and “no-fail” support to their highly complex maritime operations. Including, seeing to it that FUELTRAX installations are performed to standard regardless of the time and place.
John graduated from State University of New York Maritime College with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation in 2002 and received his direct commission into the Navy Reserve in 2006. A professional mariner and former Maritime Operations Officer for the Department of the Navy, John is a skilled vessel pilot and has deep experience in operational planning, maritime command and control (C2), cross-functional leadership, and contingency management. As a Navy reserve officer, he has previously activated and deployed to lead maritime operations and programs for various US Navy units around the globe.
He has also received several federal employee and military awards, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
