Karim Omran is the Commercial Director at Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT), Saudi Arabia’s largest container terminal operator. Since 2017, he has been responsible for shaping RSGT’s commercial strategy, driving customer partnerships, and spearheading growth initiatives across the company’s expanding portfolio, including its flagship terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port.
Before joining RSGT, Karim built his career with APM Terminals (Maersk Group), where he held progressive management roles starting in 2009 at the Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) in Port Said.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport and has completed advanced executive training in management, Six Sigma, and supply chain operations.
