Lars is a Senior Ports and Shipping Executive with a comprehensive understanding of the transport economics in emerging markets, including containerised and non-containerised transport. His proven track record of developing assets and services under challenging conditions is a testament to his expertise.

After successfully establishing and expanding a consulting portfolio leading Hamburg Port Consulting (HPC) in the Middle East and Africa, Lars has taken on the role of CEO at RSGT MPT. In this position, he is committed to driving a successful startup, achieving top-line growth, and ensuring industry-leading operational excellence in the non-container terminal segment. His dedication to delivering world-class services will contribute to the growth of the sector in the Kingdom in line with VISION2030.

Lars's entrepreneurial spirit and deep passion for the industry are evident in his work. He possesses a keen sense of urgency and a well-developed aptitude for building and executing strategies in complex environments, which he brings to his role as a Senior Ports and Shipping Executive.

Lars holds a unique blend of international degrees in Economics and Shipping, as well as a master’s degree in Shipping Law from the University of Cape Town. This distinctive background, combined with his extensive experience, establishes him as an authority on ports, logistics, and shipping in the developing world.
