Mr. Al-Mosawi joined the Aids to Navigation (AtoN) industry with the Middle East Navigation Aids Service (MENAS) in 2001 spending the next 11 years as an AtoN offshore operations engineer on MENAS Buoy Tender Vessels, focusing on offshore AtoN maintenance. In 2012 he became assistant Navigation Services Manager, overseeing surveying and maintenance for various local and international projects. After three years, while on secondment, he joined the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) as Technical Advisor. In 2017 he assumed the role of MENAS General Manager.
Mr Al-Mosawi’s primary responsibilities involve overseeing all MENAS operations within the Gulf region. This includes reporting to the IFAN/MENAS Board and participating in regular engagements with local authorities, stakeholders and the IALA committee. His involvement extends to developing AtoN, DGNSS, and MSI services in the region through collaborative meetings and strategic coordination.
