Mohamed AbuHamra is the Chief Operating Officer of Digital Technology at DP World GCC.

Mohamed plays a central role in transforming the landscape of trade, supply chains, and logistics through innovative digital technologies. His leadership in digitising cross-border trade and managing the Dubai Trade single window platform, which recorded over 32.6 million digital transactions in 2023, is pivotal to enhancing the efficiency and fluidity of global trade.

Since joining DP World in 2008, AbuHamra has held various leadership roles and now directly reports to the CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC, Abdulla Bin Damithan. With extensive expertise in the supply chain and logistics sector, he is an advocate for advanced digital solutions that streamline operations and drive sustainable growth. This influence extends beyond DP World as he contributes to various boards and serves on the Dubai Future Foundation’s council on AI, supporting Dubai's vision to become a globally recognised AI-driven city of the future.

Mohamed’s commitment to innovation is further demonstrated by his ongoing doctorate research in AI and Big Data in the UK. This academic pursuit adds to his educational background which includes a master's degree in International Business and a bachelor's degree in Computing and Information Systems, both completed with distinction from the University of Wollongong Dubai and the University of Dubai, respectively.
