Patrick Frigge is a German engineer and business leader with over 20 years of international experience in the marine and energy sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management and has held senior leadership roles at major companies including Wärtsilä, GE/INNIO Jenbacher, and Siemens Energy.

Currently serving as Design Director at MAKEEN Saudi Engines Manufacturing Company, he is building up Saudi Arabia’s first large engine manufacturing capability. He is also the founder of FPE GmbH, a Swiss consultancy focused on engine technology and business optimization.

Throughout his career, Patrick has managed global R&D teams, led multi-million-euro product development programs, and successfully introduced new large-engine platforms to the market. His expertise spans engine design, organizational leadership, and cross-cultural business development.

Fluent in German, English, and French, Patrick has lived and worked across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. He is an active contributor to international industry bodies such as CIMAC, where he has chaired sessions and served on executive committees.
