Samer Qiblawi is the founder, President & CEO of Marcap, a position he has held since establishing the company in 1996. His entrepreneurial journey began after a period of rapid corporate growth, first with CCC and then NPCC, where he gained his expertise and laid the groundwork for his future ventures.

A graduate from the American University in Beirut, Samer is guided by a sharp strategic vision and a practical, hands-on leadership style. He has successfully grown Marcap from a small team into a respected offshore support vessel owner and manager with around 500 employees and more than 35 operating vessels across the MEA region and beyond.

This path from employment to entrepreneurship is a hallmark of his career. Samer remains closely involved in the company’s operations and decision-making, with his natural curiosity and extensive field experience providing deep insight into vessel management, project delivery, and client needs. Under his leadership, Marcap has expanded geographically, introduced new services tailored to evolving client demands, and steadily adopted technology to enhance safety, efficiency, and client value. The company also pursues partnerships that balance innovation with industry tradition and social responsibility.
