Taher AlDabbagh is a Saudi business leader driving sustainability and innovation in the maritime sector. At Bahri — the national shipping company of Saudi Arabia and a leading global maritime player — he leads integrated planning across fleet planning, new business development, digital transformation, sustainability, and GRC, embedding green practices and advancing the company’s decarbonization agenda. Under his leadership, Bahri has strengthened governance frameworks, accelerated digital transformation, and expanded sustainability initiatives in support of the Kingdom’s maritime vision.

Previously, at Bahri affiliate International Maritime Industries (IMI) — the world’s second-largest shipyard — Taher played a central role in establishing green shipyard operations, introducing sustainable shipbuilding practices, and developing eco-friendly maritime products. He has also held senior roles at Mobily, Microsoft, and Unilever, where he led major commercial growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships with global industry leaders.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Taher serves on the Industrial Integration & Sustainability Committee of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and has advanced cross-border trade and investment as a member of the Saudi-Egyptian Business Council.

He has completed executive development programs at Harvard, Stanford, INSEAD, and the National University of Singapore, and holds an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
