Bala Sankaran is a founding member for AlphaOri Technologies where he currently serves as a board member and as a Co-CEO incharge of overall operations. He has a business strategy, operations and technology background in the digital media industry space specializing in go to market sales & business development functions. He was also a seafarer, he started his career as an engineer on board crude and chemical tankers. Served as a Chief engineer for 4 years before joining The Wharton School for his MBA (Finance). Bala honed his operations & strategy expertise working as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company after his MBA. He later led the global sales & marketing operations group at Twitter for 5 years after a 5 year stint at Google in similar functions in NYC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from DMET (India)
