Profile

With more than 25 years of experience at Shell, she moved from the research and development department to the business side of alternative fuel supply, before joining the strategy team of the Shipping & Maritime business unit in 2013, focusing on environmental policies. In 2021 she was appointed general manager on decarbonisation and is responsible for shaping the roadmap towards decarbonising shipping. Dr Alexandra Ebbinghaus holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK and a Master's degree in Business Studies from the University of Hagen, Germany.
