Maria is SVP, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Deciphera, where she leads the legal function and the healthcare compliance program. She advises on a variety of legal and business matters across the organization, always positioning compliance as a valued partner to the business.  Prior to Deciphera, she held legal and compliance roles at TESARO and Millennium: the Takeda Oncology Company.  Prior to her move in-house, Maria practiced litigation and white-collar enforcement defense at two large national law firms in New York and Boston.  She has a BA degree from Middlebury College and a law degree from University of Pennsylvania.
