Profile
Corinne Bendersky is an Associate Director at S&P Global Ratings based in London. She works in the Sustainable Finance team and focuses on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) analysis, the sustainable finance market, and environmental and climate risk research. Corinne’s research focuses on renewable energy, energy storage, climate transition risk, the green bond market, and the impact of ESG factors on credit ratings. She is also responsible for new product development and implementation in the areas of green finance and ESG.
Previously, Corinne worked in the North America Infrastructure & Renewables group at S&P Global Ratings, where she was responsible for rating a portfolio of project finance debt transactions, including renewable energy, conventional power assets, and public private partnerships.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Corinne worked at a socially responsible investment group where she conducted financial, regulatory, and environmental risk analysis on electric utilities and represented shareholders in dialogues with corporate management focused on ESG risks and opportunities. Corinne received her Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Goldman School at the University of California Berkeley and her Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies at the University of California Santa Cruz.
