Dmitri has over 20 years of experience in financial services industry with focus on structured commodity trade finance. Currently, Dmitri is a Director in Structured Transactions Group of Credit Suisse which covers the Structured Trade and Commodity Finance. Dmitri is involved in origination, structuring and hedging the structured finance deals, including commodity finance deals.
Prior to that Dmitry was a Deputy Head of Structured Finance at Amsterdam Trade Bank, Dutch subsidiary of Alfa Bank, largest private bank in Russia. In his current role, Dmitri was responsible for originating relationships with international trading companies and CIS based producers of hard as well as soft commodities. Among the clients are well-known and also small/medium-size producers and traders.
Prior to joining Amsterdam Trade Bank, Dmitri was with ING Bank in Amsterdam for 7 years where he moved up the hierarchy to become the Head of Trade Banking Origination team. In this position he successfully directed and coached regional sales managers responsible for origination of trade related financing with banks worldwide (documentary trade, structured trade financing, etc.): CEE, Turkey, ME, Africa, Americas & Western Europe.
Dmitri also has experience as Structured Trade & Commodities Finance Manager at Indonesian Overseas Bank in Amsterdam. Dmitri started his banking career in early 1990th in Estonia in what are now SEB and Swedbank.Dmitri is a CFA Charter holder and has an MBA degree from Nyenrode University (2001 batch).
