Profile

Mr Ferdinand Masi, has a 40 successful years career in the distillery business, whose passion towards revolutionizing the alcohol industry to be sustainable, equalizing the interests of the economy of operations and the environment. Ferdie, as his friends and colleagues call him, has been connected with the Consolidated Distillers of the Far East, Inc. since 1983 and is currently its General Manager.

He is concurrently the Chairman and President of Good Earth Technologies International, Inc., serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Progreen Agricorp, Inc., one of the biggest ethanol producers in the Philippines and as President of Southpoint Science Park Inc., a business industrial park with a world class international port. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He finished his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

As the Chairman of the Ethanol Producers Association of the Philippines (EPAP) - a fuel ethanol producers association that envisions to be a catalyst for countryside development and climate change mitigation, he is at the forefront of advancing the true spirit and intendments of the Philippines Biofuels Act, that is, pursuing a policy that progresses the development of the biofuel industry, as a means of providing the Philippines a sustainable source of energy that supports an agricultural economy, advancing the Philippines as a gross producer, not as an importer of goods, maximizing the rich natural resources and diverse human capital of the country, towards the growth of the marginalized sectors of the government: the farmers, and the ordinary consuming public
