Dr. Maher Alodan obtained his Ph.D. in 1996 from the University of Minnesota, USA, in Chemical Engineering and Material Science. He has over 30 years’ experience in renewable energy and sustainability, focusing on utilizing renewable energy resources to maximize their value, especially Bioenergy. Dr. Alodan worked in both private and public sectors, mainly on investment in production technology development and transfer and Policy making for the public sector. He has extensive research and development experience from both academia and research centers with more than 60 publications of refereed journal papers, conference papers, Books, and patents.
