Head- Sugar Production Research - Eastern Hemisphere at COFCO International

Pramod Kute is the Research Head (Sugar) for COFCO International, overseeing the Eastern Hemisphere region. He has Joined COFCO in 2014 and having around 15 years of experience in Sugar & other ags commodities. Before COFCO he was working with Remote sensing & GIS consulting firm as a crop expert where he was looking after the agriculture developments projects across Africa & Middle East. His main responsibility in COFCO is to track sugar supply & demand, Trade flows and Sugar/Ethanol Markets by leading the team of Agronomist for South-East Asia, China, Australia, and Indian Subcontinent. He has done an extensive crop survey across major cane growing region to understand the sugarcane farming, the sugar industry and regional market dynamics. Besides research, he has gained a perspective on agriculture commodities trading.

Pramod is well versed with Sugarcane/Ethanol Production, and he has been connected with lot of stake holder across the major producing region. He is a self-starter as well as a good listener and always been a proactive to find new ideas and solutions to make their research more robust.
