Adhieu is a Co. founder of Peak Law Chambers, a Law Firm based in South Sudan and currently having its head office in Juba, South Sudan. She and the team at the Firm have experience in handling a wide range of legal issues under the South Sudan laws and has an understanding of legal matters from other jurisdictions. The legal matters the team at the Firm handles include but is not limited to matters on mining and natural resource law, oil and gas law, employment and labour law, contract law, taxation law, land law, institution establishment and operation laws (with a major focus on organizations and companies), human rights laws, intellectual property, banking and insurance law, telecommunication law, commercial law, criminal and traffic laws and other substantive laws of South Sudan.
Adhieu has over 9 years legal experience in natural resources law and policy (mining law, oil and gas law and environmental law), commercial transactions, banking and finance law, contract review and drafting, conveyance, intellectual property, land laws, legal research, probate and administration, corporate and company law and NGO establishment and operations law, taxation law, alternative dispute resolution, employment laws and Human Rights law. #
Adhieu holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources Law & Policy acquired from the University of Dundee’s Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP), Scotland United Kingdom. She is enrolled to South Sudan Bar Council. She is a member of the Energy Institute (Dundee), a member of National Alliance for Women Lawyers (NAWL) and The South Sudan Law Society. Adhieupcv2024 Adhieu volunteers, as Director for National Alliance for Women Lawyers (NAWL), an organization which strives to promote access to justice for women, rule of law, participation of women in the Transitional Constitutional review and laws reviews in South Sudan, offers pro bono services to women, children and disadvantage who lacks legal representation.
