Alison Klein is an experienced private equity investor with nearly 20 years of experience in funds and co-investments in both developed and emerging markets. Most recently she was a manager and a senior investment officer the private equity team at FMO, covering generalist, renewable energy, and venture funds; financial institutions, forestry, and co-investments in a variety of sectors in Africa and Latin America. Previously she was part of the funds team at AlpInvest Partners where she covered cleantech, venture, growth capital and buyout funds in Western Europe and emerging markets; and earlier in her career she managed to catch the peak of the internet bubble at late-stage venture firm Focus Ventures.

Alison is a dual US and Dutch citizen. She has an MBA from INSEAD and an AB from Harvard College.
