Aysha Tegally works with investors and entrepreneurs to create solutions that enable increased capital deployment to businesses addressing the planet’s biggest problems. Her work generates both impact and commercial returns as she focusses on deploying capital to enterprises across Africa, Aysha has shaped and created entrepreneurship and early-stage investment initiatives in both the UK and Africa, working closely with prominent public, private, and multilateral organisations. She is also working with a number of clients to develop financing facilities, provide coaching for entrepreneurs and fund managers, and advises several family offices on how to deploy investments with an impact lens. She is Director of Investments at Vatternfields family office where she oversees their investment strategy into investment vehicles and direct investments into early stage businesses. She is a Board Member and Director at AWI (Advancing Women in Investing), a network dedicated to providing support to enable the growth of female investment vehicle managers in emerging markets. Aysha recently developed a specialised fund for CSI Energy to invest in female founders driving energy solutions and previously founded Future Females Invest and FFI Angels, and angel network that enabled African female founders to become investment-ready and facilitated the creation of an angel network, enabling more women to deploy capital.
