Brandon was one of Convergence Partners founding partners in 2006 and he has led it since its inception. Under his leadership, the firm has become one of Africa's most active digital infrastructure investors, deploying capital across fibre networks, data centres, towers, wireless and cloud that underpin the continent's digital economy. Convergence Partners now manages close to $500m, including its $296 million Digital Infrastructure Fund, and has extended into energy infrastructure through Convergence Partners Energy Finance.

Brandon brings over 30 years of banking, advisory, investment and private equity experience, beginning at Anglo American Corporation, later heading M&A and advisory at FBC Fidelity Investment Bank, and going on to lead Nedbank's Investment Banking division.

Brandon serves on the boards of numerous Convergence Partners portfolio companies focusing on particularly on strategy and finance issues.
