David is a Partner at Vantage Capital, and is stepping into the Managing Partner role from the launch of their fifth mezzanine fund later this year. Vantage Capital an Africa-focused fund manager that has raised funds of over $1.6 billion. Since 2006, Vantage Capital’s Mezzanine division has made 41 investments across four successive funds into 11 African countries, making it the largest and most experienced independent mezzanine funder on the continent. David is a qualified CA (SA) and a CFA charterholder. He holds a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance honours) from the University of Cape Town.
