Yemi has over two decades of experience as an Investor, Operator and Advisor.

He is the Managing Partner of Uhuru Investment Partners, a private equity fund investing across West Africa and Chairs the Boards of Everyday Supermarket and Royal Foam Nigeria. He was previously the co-head of Africa private equity for Standard Chartered Private Equity, where he had oversight for investments across the continent and served on several portfolio company boards. Yemi co-founded Virgin Nigeria Airways in 2005 and was its Chief Operating Officer and a member of its Board. Prior to this he worked at Virgin Management, Hawkpoint Partners and Goldman Sachs. He holds a BEng (First Class Hons) and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Bath University.
