Ebenise Bester leads investment into funds and debt investment transactions throughout Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. Ebenise brings over 20 years of emerging markets debt and equity investment experience.

Prior to joining FinDev Canada, Ebenise was CEO for Enablis Financial Corporation, an entity that managed SME Investments mainly in South Africa and CFO for a niche private equity firm focused on renewable energy investments. Her prior work experience includes working in the corporate finance division for a JSE listed sports investment company and as a financial manager for an international shipping company.

Ebenise is a South African Chartered Accountant with a BCom (Hons) degree in Tax from the University of Cape Town and a BAcc (Hons) degree from the University of Stellenbosch
