Elena is Lead on the 2X Ignite activities at 2X Global - focusing on unlocking capital for emerging gender smart fund managers. She has extensive experience in impact investing, and designing and deploying innovative finance solutions for development. She is passionate about enabling the private sector to become an effective vehicle for impact. Elena is specialized in the cycle of early stage finance and has worn different hats along the cycle: from coaching entrepreneurs to become investment ready, investing directly in SMEs and startups, all the way to designing and deploying fund of funds and coaching programs focused on emerging fund managers.

Prior to this, Elena was Investment Advisor with I&P where she worked on the design and implementation of the Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund, and also led their seed funding operation in Ivory Coast.
