Hichem joined TPG in 2020 as Business Unit Partner in the Rise Fund, focused focused primarily on EMEA Education and Healthcare Impact investments.

Hichem has over 18 years of experience in Private equity and Investment banking spanning multiple countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. Prior to TPG, Hichem led Global Education sector at Actis. Prior to Actis, Hichem was at JPMorgan initially as part of the London M&A team covering Europe and then in Hong Kong as part of the JPMorgan AIRRO fund focusing on Asian investment opportunities.

While at TPG, Hichem led TPG Rise investment in Outcomes First Group, UK’s largest special education needs business and worked closely with the TGS team in their investment in IU Group, Germany’s leading online higher education business.

Hichem holds an MBA from Wharton Business School where he graduated as a Palmer scholar, Engineering Degrees from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a Masters from Sciences-Po in France.
