Immanuel Kadhila (IK) has over 17 years of experience in managing financial portfolios, navigating financial markets, and structuring corporate finance transactions.

He worked as the Founding Head of Treasury at Government Institutions Pension Fund (2015-2022) where he set up and oversaw the internal portfolio management function of over NAD 30 billion. He also oversaw infrastructure transaction in logistics, renewable energy and real estate development. He also served as Portfolio Manager at the Bank of Namibia, where he oversaw the management of over NAD 15 billion in foreign exchange reserves and gained valuable experience in advisory and transaction structuring through collaborations with the World Bank, Allianz Asset Management and other asset management entities.

He advised the Namibian government on crucial foreign currency risk management transactions, including the NamPower Kudu Gas development and the NAD 3 billion financing of the Walvis Bay Port Expansion through the central bank. He also played a key role in the High-Level Panel on the Namibian Economy (2019-2020), an advisory body assisting the President in reviving the Namibia's economy from an extended period of stagnation.
