James currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Zembo, Uganda’s leading electric mobility company. Under his leadership, Zembo has scaled its operations significantly, expanding its footprint and positioning itself at the forefront of Africa’s clean mobility transition. Through strategic partnerships and a robust Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, James is helping to reshape the future of transportation for thousands of motorcycle taxi riders (boda bodas), reducing both costs and emissions.
