Profile
Jouko Gorissen is an international football executive, entrepreneur, club owner and Founder of Next Level Global Recruiting, with more than 16 years of experience operating across Europe, Africa, Latin America, North America and the Caribbean.
His work focuses on building sustainable football ecosystems that connect club ownership, talent development, international recruitment and cross-border player pathways.
Gorissen holds ownership interests in football clubs in Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia and Spain, where his strategy focuses on developing self-sufficient clubs through professional management, intelligent recruitment, player development and international market access.
Through Next Level Global Recruiting, he is involved in more than 20 player transactions and intermediary operations per transfer window, working across international markets and with clubs including Celtic FC, Feyenoord, Elche and Juventus.
He is also developing a cross-continental player pathway connecting Nigeria, Bolivia and Estonia, designed to create structured movement between Africa, South America and Europe, giving emerging talent international experience and greater exposure to the global football market.
Beyond club ownership and transfers, Gorissen works on football-development initiatives with governments, football federations and communities, including projects in Nigeria, Guinea, Curaçao and Seychelles.
His broader vision is to demonstrate how football in emerging markets can become a sustainable economic ecosystem—creating value for clubs, players, communities and investors while building pathways for talent to reach the global game.
