Katy Allen is the CEO and Co-Founder of Elizabeth Kent Consulting (EKC), a Johannesburg-based advisory firm specialising in sustainable investment and enterprise development across Africa. With nearly two decades of experience designing and delivering large-scale finance and economic growth initiatives, she works at the intersection of private capital, policy, and institutional investment across emerging markets.

Her work includes leading initiatives that connect African investment priorities with blended finance instruments, institutional investors, and local capital markets. She has advised financial institutions and corporate partners on ESG integration and climate-aligned investment frameworks, structuring vehicles that link DFIs, donors, and private investors. Before co-founding EKC, Katy held senior business development leadership roles with TechnoServe and Fintrac, supporting investment and market development across Southern Africa and globally.
