Khumo is an investment manager for the UCT private equity innovation office, where he has devoted his practice to sourcing, and securing profitable investment opportunities by commercialising intellectual property through licensing & venture creation.

Khumo currently manages the UCT Pre-Seed, Seed and Evergreen Funds which hold equity in 15 portfolio companies in the renewable energy, medical devices, and biomedical sector.

He is also a member of the University of Cape Town Retirement Fund Investment Committee and is a seasoned investment professional with +10 years of expertise in alternative investments, asset allocation, and consulting
