Kyane is a partner at RaliCap, a fintech and climate fund for emerging markets backed by top global VC firms. RaliCap also runs one of the most active fintech collectives across emerging markets, with 180+ operators from Square, Stripe, Plaid, Visa, Mastercard, Coinbase, Shopify, Paypal, Ledger, Flutterwave and others. The firm made 65+ investments so far and is on track to do another 50. Kyane has been working in the African tech scene for the past 7 years, first as an entrepreneur, then as an investor with African, US, and European VC firms. Kyane has been prolifically angel investing across MENA and SSA before starting his [now fully deployed] micro-fund Suya Ventures. Based in his hometown Tunisia, Kyane is often wandering around RaliCap’s key markets, picking up some Pidgin, Swahili, Urdu and Egyptian slang along the way.
